Harold Ramírez News
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Harold Ramirez won his salary arbitration case over the team on Thursday, according to a source. He will make $2.2 million in 2023 instead of the $1.9 million that the Rays filed for. Ramirez is an outfield regular for the Rays heading into the 2023 season after he slashed an impressive .300/.343/.404 with a career-high .747 OPS, six home runs, 58 RBI, 46 runs scored and three stolen bases in a career-high 120 games last year. The 28-year-old could spend more time at first base with Ji-Man Choi now gone, but he'll also have outfield eligibility for fantasy managers. Ramirez makes a lot of hard contact, but you shouldn't expect another .300 batting average.
Tampa Bay Rays first baseman/outfielder Harold Ramirez continued to swing a hot bat in the 6-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday, going 2-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored. His double in extra innings proved to be the game-winner in this one, and he now has a modest five-game hitting streak. The 28-year-old Columbian has gone 11-for-26 (.423) with no homers, three RBI and four runs scored in his last seven games and is finishing off a strong season on a high note. He doesn't have a ton of counting stats for fantasy managers, but he's hit .314/.356/.425 with six homers, 57 RBI, 45 runs scored and three stolen bases in 379 at-bats on the year.
Tampa Bay Rays first baseman/outfielder Harold Ramirez had a strong game in the 7-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, going 3-for-4 on the day. Ramirez is heating up at the dish for fantasy managers by going 9-for-21 (.429) in his last six games to raise his season line to .313/.356/.420 with six home runs, 55 RBI, 44 runs scored and three stolen bases in 405 plate appearances over 112 games in his first season with the Rays. The 28-year-old hasn't really racked up the counting stats for managers in season-long leagues, but he's an excellent DFS play with great contact skills.
