The 28-year-old Loaisiga has appeared in just 17 games this season after having a bone spur removed from the same elbow early in the season, working to a quality 3.06 ERA in that time, although his 4.71 SIERA and minuscule 8.7% K% left plenty to be desired. It would not be surprising to see the Yankees shut the hard-throwing righty down for the remainder of the season given his long list of injury woes.
