Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta left the yard on Monday in a win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Peralta went 1-for-4 with his ninth home run of the season in the first inning off Philadelphia starter Jerad Eickhoff. The home run was the third leg of a back-to-back-to-back home run spree to start the game for Arizona. Peralta is hitting an even .300 this year and is a valuable fantasy asset in the outfield.
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta had a great day at the plate on Friday in a win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Peralta went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored. The home run was the outfielder's eighth of the season. Since returning from the IL, Peralta has given the D-backs an offensive boost. He remains one of the more underrated fantasy outfielders in the game.
In his third game back after a stint on the 10-day Injured List, Arizona Diamondbacks David Peralta (shoulder) singled in the game-winning run in the 11th inning of a 3-2 victory over the Dodgers on Wednesday. Peralta went 2-for-5 with two RBI on the night, his first two hits since his return to the lineup on Monday. The left-handed Peralta has been fantastic against right-handed pitching this year, slashing .316/.355/.571 going into Wednesday's game. Meanwhile, he's been surprisingly adequate against lefties, slashing .262/.338/.369. His numbers against left-handers really held him back last season when he had a .237 batting average against left-handed pitching. He should be owned and started in most leagues.
