Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick hit his fourth career postseason home run in the Astros 4-1 win over the Yankees in Game 3 of the ALCS. Reddick hasn't done much in the playoffs thus far, posting only two hits in his first 14 at-bats. But Reddick put a charge into one in the second inning, setting the Astros up for an early 2-0 lead. The veteran is a solid role player in a potent offense but has little fantasy appeal for the rest of the series.
Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick heads into postseason play slashing .320/.374/.515 over his last 97 at-bats with 19 runs batted in. It has been a solid season for the veteran, slashing .275/.319/.409 with 14 home runs, 19 doubles, 56 runs batted in through 141 games and 501 at-bats. It has been a bounce back for the 32-year-old after enduring strange injuries and hitting only .242 last season. Now Reddick will try and improve upon a slash-line of only .219/.280/.297 through 133 career playoff at-bats. Reddick should get the majority of the starts early on in the postseason but could lose at-bats to a rising Kyle Tucker if the veteran struggles.
Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Reddick will get a routine day off here against the left-handed starter. Jake Marisnick will cover center field and bat ninth versus lefty Ryan Yarbrough. Marisnick has been awful with the bat, so he's not worth looking at in fantasy formats.
