Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon hit a three just before the final buzzer of regulation to send Saturday's contest against the Lakers into overtime, where the Rockets ultimately prevailed 138-134. Gordon had 30 points on the night, finishing with a 7-for-16 night from the floor and draining 11 free throws. Gordon also added five rebounds and four assists. Gordon, who has dealt with knee issues that led to an extended absence from the Rockets lineup, looks like he's back to his old self, and with a meeting Monday against a 76ers team that's allowed points on the perimeter at times this year, Gordon is a decent DFS play.
Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon (knee) will play against the Lakers on Saturday. He was listed as probable for the game after leaving Wednesday's contest against the Nets late in the fourth quarter. Wednesday's game was his first action in nine games and he fared very well, pumping in 20 points as the 30-year-old made six of 11 shots from the floor and four of eight from behind the three-point line in 21 minutes. Gordon is expected to see 20-to-25 minutes of court time tonight. James Ennis will also be available after sitting out the Nets game.
Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon (knee) is probable for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Gordon returned from an eight game absence on Wednesday and scored 20 points in 21 minutes. He should see his playing time increase as the Rockets ease him back into action. He's going to be a decent DFS option for Saturday since the Rockets need help on offense.
