Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon matched his season high with eight triples on Sunday against Boston, shooting 11-for-18 overall from the field on his way to 32 points. He and James Harden ended up scoring 74 points in a 115-104 win. Gordon had missed the previous game with a sore knee, but he looked perfectly fine, playing 35 minutes as a starter. Gordon and the Rockets have a tough matchup against Toronto next on Tuesday. The Raptors have given up the seventh-fewest points to opposing shooting guards this season, although Gordon did have 24 points against them in the first meeting of the season on Jan. 25.
Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon (knee) is experiencing knee soreness and will sit Thursday night against the Miami Heat. Gordon played over 35 minutes in a win against the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday night so this is most likely a maintenance day for Gordon. Gerald Green will get the spot start and should be treated as a three-point streamer for daily fantasy leagues.
Houston Rockets shooting guard/small forward Eric Gordon has been given the green light to suit up for Wednesdays contest versus the Sacramento Kings after having started the day as questionable due to right knee soreness. Gordons return likely shifts James Ennis back to a bench role, although he still figures to see a solid chunk of minutes due to Houstons injuries. Gordon tied his season low with four three-point attempts in his previous outing, a number he should be able to surpass Wednesday due to the pace of play that will come from matching up against the Kings.
