Tony Snell News
Portland Trail Blazers forward Tony Snell (personal) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. This marks the second game in a row that Snell has missed due to personal reasons. He has been playing more lately, but it hasn't resulted in consistent fantasy value. Also, the return of Nassir Little has robbed Snell of most of his value. That being said, Snell can be left on the waiver wire in basically all formats right now.
Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Tony Snell (Achilles) has been ruled out for Monday's contest versus the Wizards. Snell has dealt with persistent Achilles issues during the second half of the year, but he has managed to start each of the previous five games for Atlanta. His absence likely opens the door for a returning De'Andre Hunter (knee) to snag his minutes. Even when healthy, Snell's role in the Hawks' offense has been minimal, not having hoisted more than five shot attempts in a game since March 22. His next opportunity to get back into action comes Wednesday against Washington.
Atlanta Hawks small forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) and shooting guard Tony Snell (Achilles) have earned questionable designations ahead of Monday's game versus Washington. Hunter is the name to key an eye on, as he has averaged 16 points and 5.1 boards per game and hasn't appeared since March 24 due to a sore right knee. Hunter's year has been curtailed by knee issues, but when healthy, he has proven to be an adept fantasy asset. Snell has started each of the past five games for Atlanta, but he falls into the category of being more valuable in an NBA game than a fantasy one. Kevin Huerter could take a minutes dip if Hunter is able to return, so check back prior to tip-off to see how the Hawks' depth chart shakes out.
Atlanta Hawks forward Tony Snell (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He was originally listed as questionable, but it appears he's healthy enough to suit up. Snell has been playing minutes in the low 20s, but is one of the hottest shooters from beyond the arc. Sadly, Snell doesn't offer much outside of that, so most fantasy managers can ignore him.
