Evan Turner News
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Evan Turner has a buyout pending with the organization. Turner is allowed to work out for the Clippers on Saturday, according to Chris Haynes. He didn't make much of an impact in Atlanta earlier in the season, but could be useful elsewhere. However, Turner would likely be lost in shuffle if he signs with the Clippers. He might have deep league value, but it wouldn't be much more than that.
Atlanta Hawks power forward Jabari Parker and point guard/small forward Evan Turner have both been listed as questionable to participate in Wednesdays contest against the Milwaukee Bucks. Parker is dealing with right shoulder pain, while Turner is still battling the left Achilles pain that has kept him sidelined for eight games this season. Parker has been a breakout star in the absence of John Collins (suspension) in the frontcourt, as Turner has logged 15 minutes in each of his two outings since returning. Should either man miss the contest, veteran Vince Carter could step in and see an increased workload. Check back closer to tip-off to get word on which Hawks are cleared to suit up.
Atlanta Hawks point guard/small forward Evan Turner is probable to suit up for Saturdays contest versus the Los Angeles Clippers after an eight-game absence due to left Achilles pain. How quickly Turner sees a full reallocation of his minutes remains to be seen, but with Kevin Huerter sidelined, Turner could be relied upon in the short-term as a backup behind Trae Young. Turner has a history of contributing across multiple categories when given enough minutes, although owners can wait until his time on the floor take a jump before adding him in leagues.
Atlanta Hawks point guard/small forward Evan Turner has been sidelined for each of his teams previous eight games, but has been given a questionable designation to suit up Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Turner, who is dealing with left Achilles pain, has played sparingly during his first year with the Hawks. With second-year wing Kevin Huerter sidelined, the team could use Turners contributions, and while he may not immediately establish himself as a fantasy asset, the possibility exists in deeper formats down the line once he is able to return to the floor.
