Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond recorded his fourth double-double in as many games this postseason, but it was not enough as his club got eliminated by the Bucks on Monday. Drummond added three assists with a steal and two turnovers on the night. Drummond saw his numbers dip this postseason (17.3 points and 15.6 rebounds to 14.3 points and 13.0 rebounds) and he also shot an abysmal 44.4% from the floor and 42.9% from the line. Drummond had a monster regular season and if he can improve on his free-throw percentage even more, we should see a top-20 player once again next season.
Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond went for his third consecutive double-double during Saturdays Game 3 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, even with teammate Blake Griffin back in the fold. Drummond collected 12 points and 12 rebounds, with eight of his boards coming on the offensive glass. In addition to his rebounding abilities, he added four steals, three blocks and two assists to stack his stat line despite his slow start. He enters Game 4 on Monday having shot a combined 8-for-18 from the free-throw stripe in the series, needing a monster performance to keep his squads season alive.
Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond maintained his double-double form in Wednesday's Game 2 against Milwaukee, finishing a 120-99 loss with 18 points and 16 rebounds. Dating back to the regular season, Drummond now has five straight double-doubles to his name and 16 of them in his last 17 outings. Sadly for Detroit, Drummond's work in the paint hasn't helped them keep pace with the Bucks, who are heading towards a first-round sweep. You could actually say that Drummond has been a disappointment in the series, as Milwaukee has struggled to contain centers this season and Blake Griffin's (knee) absence has given him more opportunities to produce offensively. Drummond is averaging only 15 points and 14 rebounds through the first couple of games.
