Andre Roberson News
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson will move into the starting five for Tuesday's scrimmage against the Portland Trail Blazers. Veteran point guard Chris Paul will receive a routine rest day here. That means, Roberson gets to join the starting five and show everyone what he can do. It's great to see Roberson back on the court after being sidelined for two years. He won't offer much fantasy value outside of defensive stats, but at least he's getting a chance to play again.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson (knee) was finally able to take the court for the first time in two years. He underwent a knee surgery in January of 2018, but various setbacks have kept him off the court for 909 days. He finished with five points, two rebounds, one steal in 11 minutes during Friday's scrimmage. His game doesn't really translate well into fantasy hoops, but it's great to see Roberson back on the court.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson (knee) was able to go through practice on Friday, according to head coach Billy Donovan. "He participated in everything," Donovan said. Roberson has been banged up for quite some time, so it's nice to see him back on the court. It was reported that Roberson was ready to play around mid-June after not playing since the 2017-2018 season. It's unclear where he'll fit into the rotation, but the Thunder might be careful with him right away. Roberson brings elite defense to the table, but his fantasy value could be limited since he might only see minutes in the teens.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson (knee) says that he was ready to play when the league went on hiatus. He is recovering from left knee surgery and has not played an NBA game since the 2017 season. There is a good chance that he'll be available for the organization in July. The Thunder are likely going to be cautious and have a minutes limit on Roberson. He won't have great fantasy value right away, but will give a nice lift to the Thunder defense.
