Jaxson Hayes News
Los Angeles Lakers center Jaxson Hayes (calf) is on track to return to the lineup on Tuesday against Toronto. He was sidelined with a calf contusion on Sunday versus Brooklyn. Hayes averages 4.1 points and 2.9 rebounds and doesn't usually play a significant role for the Lakers, but we could see a lot more of him this week as Tuesday marks the start of a back-to-back. Anthony Davis (knee) sat out one game in a back-to-back last week, allowing Hayes to join the starting lineup. He had a solid game with 14 points, seven rebounds, and a block as a starter against Memphis.
Los Angeles Lakers center Jaxson Hayes (calf) won't be available against the Nets on Sunday. He has been ruled out with a left calf contusion, as the Lakers lose another frontcourt option. Hayes has been a reliable backup to Anthony Davis (knee) and played well in a starting role earlier in the week against Memphis when Davis sat out the second leg of a back-to-back. Davis is once again questionable ahead of Sunday's game. With the Lakers down to bare bones at the center position, Davis could get a massive workload without Hayes if he's deemed available.
Los Angeles Lakers forward Jaxson Hayes (elbow) has been ruled out for the rest of Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Hayes was cleared to play in this game, but only lasted seven minutes before exiting due to left elbow soreness. His absence isn't going to have much of an impact on the rotation. Anthony Davis is currently healthy, so Hayes is normally the third big man in the rotation. The Lakers should be able to fill the void by using a committee approach.
Los Angeles Lakers center Jaxson Hayes (ankle) is expected to play on Friday after the team upgraded his official status from questionable to probable on the latest injury report. Hayes was dealing with an ankle sprain that caused him to miss two games, but he'll be back after a small absence. Anthony Davis (hip) was also upgraded to probable, so Hayes won't be seeing additional playing time from his norm, but he should be on the floor for around 5-to-10 minutes. This would likely just take some fantasy value away from Christian Wood and Rui Hachimura instead of making Hayes more fantasy-relevant.
