Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins is one of the league's brightest young stars, and his talents were on full display versus the Knicks on Wednesday. In a team-high 41 minutes of play, he scored 22 points on 9-for-20 shooting from the field and pulled down 15 rebounds, with four of them coming from crashing the offensive glass. Collins was also active as usual on the defensive end, as he came up two steals and a blocked shot in the 131-136 overtime loss for the Hawks. It was not a flawless night for him, though, as only one of his six attempts from deep found the bottom of the net. Collins is averaging 25.4 points and 10.3 rebounds on 61.8% accuracy overall over his last 10 games, meaning he is a must-add to any fantasy roster if the NBA season is continued.
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has been one of the NBA's most productive fantasy players this season, and he finished with another sensational performance against the Knicks on Wednesday. In 38 minutes, he dropped 42 points on 12-for-25 shooting overall, 6-for-12 from deep and he connected on 12 of his 15 free-throw tries. Young also collected 11 assists, two rebounds and six turnovers in the 131-136 overtime loss for Atlanta. If/when the NBA season resumes, owners should be wary of his recent shooting slump, as only 28.6% of Young's treys have found the bottom of the net over his last nine outings.
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young had a double-double in a double-overtime win over the Hornets on Monday, shooting 11 of 25 to finish with 31 points along with 16 assists, six three-pointers, and four rebounds. Young played a whopping 43 minutes in this contest, the second-most playing time he's seen in a game this season. This game helps to make up for Young's previous performance of just 16 points against Memphis on Saturday, and he'll be in prime position to build momentum with the Knicks and Cavaliers up next on the schedule.
Atlanta Hawks wing Cam Reddish shot eight of 14 across 40 minutes to finish a double-overtime victory over the Hornets with 22 points, seven rebounds, and three three-pointers off the bench. Reddish was coming off a 12-minute nine-point outing in the loss to Memphis on Saturday, so this was certainly a bounce-back effort for the rookie. He's really picked up his offensive production in recent weeks, and with the Hawks slated to face the Knicks and Cavaliers in their next two games, Reddish could be primed for even more.
Atlanta Hawks guard Jeff Teague (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. He was listed as questionable due to flu-like symptoms, but it appears that Teague is feeling better now. Trae Young is healthy and starting, so Teague won't have great fantasy value going forward. He could be someone worth looking at in deep leagues, but Teague doesn't have great upside.
