Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic fueled his team to a critical 123-111 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night. The Serbian played 29 minutes and contributed 27 points, eight assists, five rebounds, one steal, one block, and seven three-pointers on the night. It was Bogdanovic's most points scored and made threes in a game since Nov. 20, and most assists in a game this season since Nov. 26. The third-year guard struggled in February and March but now has two 20-point outings in his last three games. Fantasy managers would appreciate a bounce-back in the final month as Bogdanovic currently ranks 33rd among shooting guards in standard ESPN leagues.
Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield scored 22 points for the second-straight game and helped his team to a 123-111 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Hield came off the bench on Saturday, and in 26 minutes he shot 8-for-14 from the field and 6-for-9 from three-point range, while adding three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. His six three-pointers were a big reason that the Kings were able to tie a franchise record with 21 made deep balls in the game. Sacramento is 14-6 since Hield's benching earlier this season. However, these back-to-back 22-point performances show that the former-Oklahoma Sooner still has a lot of value as we enter the final month of the regular season.
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox wasn't at his best on Saturday night against the Portland Trail Blazers but was still able to collect his eighth double-double of the season. In a 123-111 win, Fox played 28 minutes and posted 14 points, 11 assists, five rebounds, and two steals despite shooting 3-for-11 from the floor. He has been battling with an abdominal injury recently but continues to produce for his fantasy owners. The 2017 lottery pick has even improved in the free-throw department recently. For the season, the point guard is shooting 69.3 percent, but over his last five games, he has gone 29-for-33 from the charity stripe. Expect Fox to return to his regularly scheduled scoring output on Sunday night against the Toronto Raptors, but keep an eye on the improved run of free-throw shooting as well.
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Holmes has been making great progress lately and has a real chance to get back on the court here. Harry Giles and Alex Len would take significant hits in playing time and usage with Holmes back. Fantasy owners should check the waiver wire to see if anyone dropped Holmes. He should be owned in almost all formats if he does get back on the court.
Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield hit six of his 10 three-point attempts on Thursday, but it wasn't enough as his team fell 125-108 to the Philadelphia 76ers. Hield came off the bench and contributed 22 points on 8-for-16 shooting, with three steals, one rebound, and one assist in 25 minutes. It's been a strange year for the shooting guard as he is averaging the lowest field-goal percentage and three-point percentage since his rookie season. Hield has also seen his minutes plummet from 34.4 per game as a starter over the first 44 games, to 26.9 in the last 18 games as a sixth man. It seems like his minutes won't change anytime soon as the Kings are 12-6 since Hield's benching. They were 15-29 when the former-Oklahoma Sooner was a starter.
