Washington Wizards Starting Lineup
- Eastern Southeast
- Stadium
- Capital One Arena
Washington Wizards center Richaun Holmes (toe) will miss Friday's matchup with Detroit. Holmes left Wednesday's contest against the Nets due to a left toe contusion. With Holmes sidelined, Marvin Bagley III will likely be the starting center. In Holmes's absence, forwards Anthony Gill, Patrick Baldwin, and Tristan Vukcevic should see an uptick in minutes on the court. However, these three players will make little of an impact in DFS on Friday.
Washington Wizards guard Tyus Jones (back) will not play Friday against the Detroit Pistons. The 27-year-old has a back sprain and hasn't suited up since March 14. Jordan Poole and Corey Kispert have anchored the Wizards backcourt while Jones has been unavailable. Jared Butler and Johnny Davis may also see an uptick in minutes as two of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association meet for the final time this season.
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (ankle) has been upgraded from questionable to available for Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Poole is good to go despite a sprained right ankle, and he should play his normal allotment of minutes. Although the 24-year-old combo guard has been a massive disappointment during his first season in D.C., he's trending up in the absence of starting floor general Tyus Jones (back). Through his past six appearances (five starts), Poole is averaging 19.0 points, 5.0 dimes, 1.5 steals, and 2.7 three-pointers in 29.8 minutes and remains worth starting in all points formats for the start of the fantasy semifinals. His matchup outlook would brighten significantly if Alex Caruso (ankle) sits out; no team has given up fewer DraftKings points to opposing point guards than the Bulls in 2023-24.
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (shoulder) is out Monday against the Chicago Bulls due to left shoulder soreness. He had suited up for the last two Wizards tilts. Patrick Baldwin and Corey Kispert will likely see more action with the 28-year-old Kuzma sidelined. Washington could have seven players out with injuries for Monday's matchup, with 27-year-old guard Jordan Poole (ankle) listed as questionable.
Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) will miss his eighth straight game on Monday versus the Bulls. Shamet has been shelved with a left calf strain, and it is unknown when he will return. Before missing time, he averaged 7.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 46 contests. Washington could potentially have seven players out with injuries for Monday's game, with 27-year-old guard Jordan Poole (ankle) listed as questionable.
