Miami Dolphins wide receiver Robbie Chosen (concussion) was upgraded to limited participation in Thursday's practice after managing no activity on Wednesday. Chosen sustained a concussion in the Week 16 win over the Dallas Cowboys and hasn't yet cleared each step of the protocol to get in full practice participation. The 30-year-old deep threat has only appeared in seven games for the Dolphins in 2023, catching four of his five passes for 126 yards and one touchdown, but he has a chance for increased playing time with Jaylen Waddle (ankle) looking doubtful to be active on Sunday versus the Baltimore Ravens. Any kind of expanded role is still unlikely to be enough to get Chosen onto the fantasy radar as managers look to take home a title in Week 17, but the Dolphins are going to want as much firepower as they can muster against a high-octane Ravens offense.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Robbie Chosen (concussion) was held out of the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Chosen is improving from a concussion that he suffered in the Week 16 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but that doesn't mean he'll be able to clear the NFL's concussion protocol in time to play this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The 30-year-old veteran played just five offensive snaps against Dallas and caught his only target for a 19-yard gain. He could see a bigger role if he's cleared to play in Week 17 and Jaylen Waddle (ankle) is inactive, but even then, it would be expecting a lot for Chosen to have a significant role in Miami's offense behind Tyreek Hill (ankle), Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Braxton Berrios. Chosen has only four catches for 126 yards and a touchdown in seven games for the Dolphins in 2023.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Robbie Chosen (healthy scratch), offensive lineman Robert Jones (knee) and safety Jevon Holland (knees) are officially inactive for the Week 13 contest versus the Washington Commanders on Sunday. The 30-year-old Chosen has only played in five games for the Dolphins this year and has three catches on his four targets for 107 yards and one touchdown, which came back in Week 3 in the 70-point shellacking of the Denver Broncos. Holland was injured in the Black Friday win over the New York Jets in Week 12. The 23-year-old has been a big part of Miami's secondary, recording 70 tackles, an interception and three forced fumbles this year. Jones has been the Dolphins' starting left guard in 2023. He'll be replaced by either Lester Cotton or Liam Eichenberg.
The Miami Dolphins have re-signed wide receiver Robbie Chosen on Saturday. The 30-year-old wideout was released by the team earlier in the week, but will return ahead of the Week 11 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Chosen was immediately elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game. Chosen hasn't been a reliable contributor this season with one catch for 68 yards and touchdown in four games. He's expected to serve as depth for this offense, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to make much of an impact during Sunday's game.
The Miami Dolphins waived wide receiver Robbie Chosen on Thursday. Apparently he wasn't the chosen one in Miami this year. In four games played for the Dolphins before getting cut, the 30-year-old caught just one of his two targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. His 68-yard touchdown catch came in Week 3 when the Dolphins broke a record by beating the Denver Broncos 70-20. Chosen became the odd man out after the acquisition of receiver Chase Claypool from the Chicago Bears. The veteran wideout will now look to finish the 2023 campaign with another organization.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Robbie Chosen (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany. Chosen continues to be the odd man out when the Dolphins decide which receivers will play. The 30-year-old is off the fantasy radar in all leagues. In the meantime, Chase Claypool, Cedrick Wilson Jr., and Braxton Berrios will operate in depth roles behind alpha receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Robbie Chosen (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game in Philadelphia. The 30-year-old has played twice this season, amassing one catch for 68 yards and a touchdown. Of course, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are the Dolphins' primary receiving options. However, Chase Claypool will make his debut for Miami in Week 7, meaning Chosen may not be in uniform for the fins anytime soon.
The Miami Dolphins elevated wide receiver Robbie Chosen from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster on Saturday in time for their Week 3 contest against the Denver Broncos. Linebacker Cameron Goode also joins Chosen on the active roster. Chosen will give the Dolphins an extra receiver for Sunday's clash in Miami after the Dolphins ruled Jaylen Waddle (concussion) out. The 30-year-old Chosen was cut on Aug. 29 but re-signed to the team's practice squad to give them extra receiver depth. Chosen hasn't really come close to replicating his 1,000-yard season in 2020 with the Carolina Panthers and isn't likely to have much of a role on Sunday with Waddle out. Behind Tyreek Hill, Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft and Erik Ezukanma will have expanded roles in Week 3.
The Miami Dolphins signed wide receiver Robbie Chosen to their practice squad on Monday after releasing him last week. Chosen got the boot off the roster when the Dolphins cut down to 53 players last Tuesday, but he's now back with the organization with the 2023 regular season starting this Thursday. The 30-year-old had a career year with the Carolina Panthers in 2020, putting up 95 catches on 136 targets for 1,096 yards and three touchdowns in 16 starts, but he's gone drastically downhill since then. In 16 games (seven starts) for the Panthers and Arizona Cardinals in 2022, he had 20 receptions for 282 yards and one touchdown and remains well off the fantasy radar this season.
The Miami Dolphins have released veteran wide receiver Robbie Chosen. Anderson has spent time with the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, and Arizona Cardinals since entering the league in 2016 as an undrafted free agent, but he couldn't crack Miami's 53-man roster. The 30-year-old wideout was thought to be competing for a WR3 or WR4 role during the preseason, which kept him on the fantasy radar in ultra-deep leagues. After the Dolphins cut ties with him, he can be safely ignored in preseason drafts all of sizes.
