  • LeSean McCoy Has Strong Week 11 Performance

Despite the rest of the Bills offense looking terrible, LeSean McCoy had a strong Week 11 performance against the Los Angeles Chargers as he posted 114 rushing yards and a touchdown while also hauling in one catch for 12 yards that also went for a touchdown. This was McCoy's second multi-touchdown game of the season, and came at the right time as he had been coming off two consecutive disappointing performances. It also proved that he is capable of performing even when the rest of the offense is in shambles and that he is still capable of being the focal point of the offense. Both of these things were in question entering the week, as McCoy had combined for just 25 touches over his past two games. After this reassuring performance, McCoy can once again be counted on as an RB1 in his Week 12 matchup against the Chiefs.

  • LeSean McCoy In Good Spot To Bounce Back In Week 11

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy will look to bounce back from his Week 10 performance in which he got just eight carries and recorded 60 total yards. The good news is that he faces a positive matchup as the Bills will take on the Los Angeles Chargers, who have allowed opposing running backs to combine for 20 or more fantasy points in each of the past two weeks. Volume should return for McCoy as well as the Bills will be breaking in rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman and will presumably want to limit his involvement in the game, especially early on. That said, McCoy has the volume and matchup to put him in a great spot in season long leagues and as an interesting contrarian DFS option.

  • LeSean McCoy Has Disappointing Week 10

LeSean McCoy got only eight carries for 49 yards in Week 10 against the Saints. He did manage three receptions for 11 yards to somewhat salvage his day in PPR formats. The Bills fell behind quickly in their matchup with the Saints, limiting their run volume greatly. Thus, despite managing 6.1 yards per carry, McCoy lacked the volume to make a dent as an RB1 this week. If the Bills performance as a team continues to slide, volume will remain a concern for McCoy going forward. In the past two weeks, the Bills have lost by 13 and 37 points respectively with McCoy getting only 12 and 11 touches in those same games. Prior to those two games, McCoy's floor had been anchored by massive volume both on the ground and through the air. If that is no longer going to be the case, his fantasy value will likely take a hit, and if nothing else he will much less consistent.
