  • LeSean McCoy Will Look To Bounce Back in Week 3

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy will look to bounce back from a terrible Week 2 as he managed just 9 yards on 12 carries. Six receptions did salvage his fantasy value in PPR leagues, but his owners will be looking for more from him moving forward. It won't be easy this week, however, as he will face the stout Denver Broncos defense that has allowed just 2.9 yards per carry this season. Volume shouldn't be a problem as McCoy is averaging 23 touches per game in the early going of the season. That almost certain volume makes it difficult to move away from McCoy this week, just understand the limitations that will likely keep him from an elite performance.

  • LeSean McCoy To Rest Wednesday

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is set to sit out of practice as part of a rest day Wednesday, according to head coach Sean McDermott. With the way the Bills will use McCoy this year, he'll need plenty of days off during the week. He's seen 34 carries over two weeks and added 11 catches as Buffalo's main offensive weapon. They'll need him at the top of his game to be competitive against the Broncos in Week 3. Despite the tough matchup, Shady is a must-start as long as he's healthy.

  • LeSean McCoy Shut Down In Week 2

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy gained just nine yards rushing on 12 carries in the Bills 9-3 loss to the Panthers in Week 2. McCoy also managed six receptions and 34 yards through the air, which allowed him to salvage at least some fantasy value in PPR leagues. Besides performance, health also has to be a concern for McCoy as he was battling minor groin and wrist injuries heading into the week, and a re-aggravation of his wrist injury caused him to briefly exit the game in the third quarter. Now two games into the season, McCoy has put together two drastically different performances as he averaged five yards per carry in Week One, while averaging under one yard per carry in Week 2. Things won't get any easier for McCoy next week, as the Bills will play host to a strong Denver Broncos' defense.
