  • Tyrod Taylor Looks Solid After Coming Off Bench

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor played in relief of beleaguered rookie Nathan Peterman in the second half of the Bills loss to the Chargers in Week 11 just days after being benched. He looked solid in the process, completing 15 of 25 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown and also tacked on 38 rushing yards and a touchdown. It should be noted that Taylor did come in after the game was well out of hand, so his numbers should come with a grain of salt. On the other hand, if the Bills are interested in winning games, it was painfully clear based on Peterman's performance that Taylor needs to be the starting quarterback. Though his performances were a mixed bag in terms of fantasy value to this point in the season, he should be widely available and a streaming option for Week 12 if he is named the started once again.

  • Tyrod Taylor Has Miserable Performance Against Saints

Coming off his best statistical performance of the season, Tyrod Taylor struggled mightily against the Saints on Sunday as he completed just nine of his 18 pass attempts for 56 yards and an interception prior to being benched in the fourth quarter. He did manage to tack on 27 rushing yards. Needless to say this was a huge disappointment for Taylor and his fantasy owners as he had come off of three relatively strong performances in a row. Despite the score dictating the need to throw the ball to stay in the game and a full set of receiving weapons, Taylor failed to get anything going through the air and averaged just 3.11 yards per pass attempt. Looking to the future, Taylor has already been named the starting quarterback for the Bills next week against the Chargers despite being benched, and he will look to bounce back from this disappointing performance.

  • Tyrod Taylor Will Face Uphill Battle In Week 10

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has a tough matchup in Week 10, as the Bills will take on the tough New Orleans Saints defense. To this point, the Saints have allowed opposing quarterbacks only 6.8 yards per pass attempt and are the fourth best passing defense as measured by DVOA. On the positive side of things, Taylor has shown renewed interest in running the ball as he has two consecutive games with rushing touchdowns. In addition, the game will be at New Era Field in Buffalo where Taylor has averaged 7.63 yards per pass attempt. That pairs nicely with the fact that  he should also have a number of quality receiving options once again, as Kelvin Benjamin will make his team debut and Charles Clay will return from a knee injury. His rushing ability gives him some upside but his passing production could be modest due to the tough matchup. That said, Taylor isn't the worst option in Week 10, but it would be best to look elsewhere if possible.
