  • Julio Jones Set For Big Week 15

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is currently third in the NFL in receiving yards, a stat line explained in part by his 118 targets in the passing game this season. Jones' receiving yards are impressive, but the real story of his fantasy season is his three receiving touchdowns. The lack of touchdowns is a serious detraction from Jones' fantasy value, and while he isn't touchdown-dependent, his scarce presence in the end zone leaves something to be desired. The good news is Jones should see plenty of opportunities to score this week, as the Falcons travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday night. The last time Jones faced the Buccaneers, he torched them for 253 yards and two of his three touchdowns this season, and even if he performs at half of that same pace, he's set to have a monster game. Start Jones with confidence this week.

  • Julio Jones Catches 93 Yards in Bounce Back Game

After being held to just 24 receiving yards in Week 13, Atlanta Falcon's wide receiver Julio Jones bounced back to his normal form, catching five of his 11 targets for 98 yards. After only being targeted six times last week, Jones got a virtual smorgasbord of balls thrown his way, and his production flourished because of it. Jones is currently ranked third in receiving yards and ninth in receptions, but is tied at number 55 for receiving touchdowns. Jones' lack of touchdowns this season is helped by his yardage, but the fact remains, Jones has only caught three touchdowns this season. The good news? Two of those touchdowns came against the Falcons' next opponent, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Falcons will be on the road for this game Monday night, which means they'll have 11 days to recover after the four-day short week, time which can only benefit Jones and a Falcons' offense that has had some struggles getting on the same page this season.

  • Julio Jones Catches Two Passes for 24 Yards

Despite sharing the team lead in targets, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones only caught two of his six targets for 24 receiving yards and no touchdowns. Jones and the Falcons offense faced one of their toughest opponents to date against the Minnesota Vikings, and despite quarterback Matt Ryan's best efforts, Jones couldn't get anything going in this game. Typically, in weeks after Jones has had a poor performance, he's posted huge numbers, and this Thursday shouldn't disappoint, as Jones and the Falcons play host to the New Orleans Saints, a team that is currently rankedĀ 12th bestĀ in the league for fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. Jones has had some monster bounce-back games this season, and even with the short week, he should have a solid performance.
