  • Andrew Luck to Practice Thursday and Saturday

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) will be participating in team practices on Thursday and Saturday, according to Zak Keefer of the Indy Star. Luck is certainly making progress toward playing in 2017, but it looks like he will need more time to get acclimated to game speed before he can start under center. Still, the fact that Keefer's tweets on Thursday have noted that Luck has more zip on the football in throwing downfield shows that the wait might be worthwhile. He should be owned in all formats and could find his way onto the field by Week 8 at the earliest.

  • Andrew Luck "More Than a Week Away" from Return

According to Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) is "more than a week away" from a return. Pagano added that Luck will be incorporated into 7-on-7 drills in practice this week in preparation for his return. This news is nothing ground-breaking, as he wasn't expected back until November. That Luck will be shaking off rust in 7-on-7 drills to get himself prepared for a return is a promising, though it can't quite compare to in-game action. His earliest return looks to be Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals on October 29 or Week 9 against the Houston Texans, both of which are away games.

  • Andrew Luck Ruled Out for Week 6

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) has been ruled out for the team's Week 6 contest with the Tennessee Titans, per NFL Insider Adam Shefter. Luck owners hoping for a return this week should be incredibly disappointed, especially considering how the Colts opted to not put him on the PUP List to open the regular season. He will now miss the initial six games he would have been required to miss if he was on the PUP anyways with a November return looking more and more likely. In the meantime, quarterback Jacoby Brissett will hold on to his spot under center.
