  • Alshon Jeffery Has an Inefficient Night on Thursday Night Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was inefficient on Thursday Night Football, catching just 4-of-10 targets. He did gain 71 yards, but he could have had a much bigger night. Jeffery committed a drop and just wasn't on the same page as his quarterback. It's been a slow start to Jeffery's Eagles career, and with the Eagles taking on Washington next week, Jeffery may have another rough game if Josh Norman is back on the field.

  • Alshon Jeffery Finally Gets a Break, Should Have a Solid Week 6

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has started his Eagles career by facing off against some of the NFL's best cornerbacks for the first five weeks of the season. He's predictably had a hard time with them, leading to a slow start to Jeffery's season. He finally gets a bit of a break in Week 6, but it comes in a short week on Thursday Night Football against the Carolina Panthers. Panthers corner James Bradberry is a solid defensive back who will likely shadow Jeffery, but he's not in the same tier as the guys Jeffery has already dealt with. Jeffery is a solid WR2 this week, but he carries WR1 upside.

  • Alshon Jeffery Continues His Slow Start to the Season

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery had another week of being mostly shut down by an elite secondary. Taking on Patrick Peterson and the Arizona Cardinals, Jeffery caught three passes for 31 scoreless yards. Even on a day when Carson Wentz threw for four touchdowns, Jeffery is off to a very slow start to his Eagles career, but to be fair to him, he's faced some of the best cornerbacks in football over the first five weeks. He gets the Panthers on Thursday Night Football this week, and national television may be a good time for his first huge game in an Eagles uniform.
