  • Josh Gordon Still In Rehab, Hoping For Reinstatement Soon

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is still in rehab, but is hopeful that he will earn reinstatement from the NFL soon. The rumor that his reinstatement was imminent made its way around Twitter on Tuesday but there were no concrete reports of there being anything in the works for Gordon. Gordon has been working with former Olympic Gold medalist Tim Montgomery, who told reporters that he expects Gordon to be back with the team sometime this season. Gordon is said to be in rehab through September 21 and expects to be reinstated by the league shortly after he gets out. Gordon has been in rehab since June 21 with the hopes that 90 days of rehab will convince the NFL he's clean and ready to take his career seriously. Even if Gordon does get to come back, it isn't a sure thing the Browns will welcome back to Cleveland. Gordon only has value in very deep dynasty leagues.

  • Josh Gordon's Reinstatement "Not Under Active Consideration"

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell met with Cleveland Browns season ticket holders on Thursday. Among the topics Goodell covered was the status of suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon. Goodell told the crowd that Gordon's reinstatement is "not under active consideration" and went on to state, "at least it hasn't made it to my desk yet." Gordon applied for reinstatement three months ago and was denied. He is permitted to apply once again for reinstatement in September. Gordon hasn't appeared in a game for the Browns since the end of the 2014 season.

  • Josh Gordon Still Hoping For Reinstatement

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon hasn't appeared in an NFL game since the 2014 season but he recently had a Twitter post which caused some onlookers to believe a comeback could be in the works. In early August, Gordon posted, "God is GREAT" to his personal account. At this point the meaning behind the tweet is purely speculative as there has been no official news regarding a possible reinstatement for the wideout. Gordon will probably get another shot in the NFL at some point but when that will be in anyone's guess. Unless you play in a very deep dynasty league, Gordon should go unowned in the majority of fantasy leagues this season.
