  • Greg Zuerlein Is Still A Machine

Los Angeles Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein certainly lives up to his nickname. Legatron went 8-for-8 on kicks on Sunday, knocking down three field goals along with five extra points without concern. He started off the scoring with a no-nonsense 50-yarder, and he'd go on to drill two more from 44 and 35 yards like it was just all in a day's work. Zuerlein likely won't see quite as much field time in the future as the Rams aren't expected to regularly score 40+ points in a game, but either way, he's one of the few plug-and-play kickers that can just be slotted and forgotten on a roster.

  • Greg Zuerlein Owns The Second Quarter

Los Angeles Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein is one of the few kickers in the NFL that has the ability to put a team on his back, and he showed off that ability on Saturday against the Chargers. With his Rams struggling and losing 21-0 by the start of the second quarter, Zuerlein started the comeback single-footedly. With a 42-yarder, Zuerlein put the team on the board, and he was just getting started. A 21-yarder came seven minutes later, and then with the last play of the half, Zuerlein knocked a 57-yard monster field goal through. He'd get the second half off because it's still the preseason, but Zuerlein reminded everyone that Legatron is still around and kicking.

  • Greg Zuerlein Perfect Against Oakland

The Los Angeles Rams are a team full of questions at a variety of positions, but kicker Greg Zuerlein is making sure the kicking game is a steady and dependable place. Zuerlein made his only field goal attempt and a pair of extra points on Saturday against the Raiders, picking up right where he left off last season. After a disappointing 2015, Legatron got back into his groove in 2016 by knocking through 86.4% of his field goal attempts and going perfect on his extra point tries. Zuerlein should be one of the more dependable kickers in the league once again in 2017.
