Dion Jordan News
San Francisco 49ers defensive end Dion Jordan (knee) has been ruled out for the second half of Sunday's season finale versus the Seahawks due to a knee injury. Jordan had entered the contest questionable to suit up with the same knee ailment, not having made a play that affected the stat sheet before departing. Jordan finishes his first year with the 49ers having appeared in 13 games and collected 17 tackles, five quarterback hits, three sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. The 49ers Defense was hampered by injuries in 2020, but fantasy managers can expect the unit to reclaim much of its shine and fantasy relevance come '21.
Seattle Seahawks defensive end Dion Jordan (shin) is dealing with a "stress issue" in his shin, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Jordan is expected to be held out for at least another week. The team plans to take it slow with him after playing in only five games for the team in 2017. Jordan was a bust as a first-round pick (third overall) for the Dolphins, but he showed promise with four sacks in five games for Seattle last year. If healthy, he'll have a big role on the team's defensive line.
Seattle Seahawks defensive end Dion Jordan (knee), who had cleanup surgery on his knee a while ago, is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks, but he should be ready for training camp, barring any setbacks. It's good news for a Seattle defense that will need Jordan to step up in the absence of Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril in 2018. The 28-year-old has been a first-round bust so far, totaling just seven sacks in three seasons played, but he did have four sacks in just five games for the Seahawks in 2017.
