  • Case Keenum Making His Case To Remain Starter

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum is now 6-2 as a starter in 2017 after leading his team to a big win over the Rams in Week 11, and head coach Mike Zimmer admitted "it's going to be hard to yank him out of there right now." Keenum went 27-for-38 for 280 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. Despite plenty of risky throws with a gunslinger do-or-die mentality, Keenum is right for the Vikings right now and is getting the job done. He's also a perfect fit in the current offense and has shown excellent trust and chemistry with his receivers, most notably Adam Thielen. Keenum is probably no better than a midrange QB for fantasy owners and doesn't possess the upside of Teddy Bridgewater, but it looks like he'll remain the starter in Minnesota until he comes back to earth or is injured, Bridgewater remains a stash in deeper and two-QB leagues.

  • Case Keenum Leads Vikings To Win

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum silenced some critics this week, leading Minnesota to a decisive win over the Rams 24-7. Keenum passed for 280 yards with a touchdown while completing 27 of 38 passes. He hit wide receiver Adam Thielen for a 65-yard catch-and-run touchdown and led some solid drives while also protecting the football. With rumors swirling about possibly being replaced by Teddy Bridgewater, that conversation will be put on hold indefinitely as the Vikings stay hot. Keenum, however, still falls short in the realm of quarterbacks that deserve top-10 fantasy attention weekly.

  • Buyer Beware On Case Keenum Against Rams

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum is coming off one of his best games as a pro last week, passing for 304 yards with four touchdowns. But he did also throw two second-half interceptions and now has at least one turnover in each of his last four games. This week, he will go up against a Los Angeles Rams defense that has been a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. In nine games this season, the Rams defense has at least one interception in eight of those games and they have allowed the fifth fewest fantasy points to the position this season. They have also held opposing signal callers to less than 200 yards passing four times. Look for the Vikings to run the football and try and limit the turnovers, making Keenum a non-factor in fantasy for Week 11.
