  • Jeremy Hill Likely Gone In Cincinnati

Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill is an impending free agent and is fully expected to move on from the Bengals. Beat writers Jim Owczarski and Paul Dehner put the chances of the Bengals re-signing Hill at one percent. Hill needed ankle surgery in November, ending his season, but he is expected to be fully healthy sometime this month. He had a big rookie season and scored 29 touchdowns his first three seasons, but Hill only averaged just 3.6 yards per carry his last three seasons, spanning 482 carries. Hill is still just 25 but is just an early-down, goal-line bruiser.

  • Jeremy Hill Done for Season

Bengals running back Jeremy Hill (ankle) will miss the rest of the season after opting to have surgery on his ankle. Hill has stated that he has been battling a sore ankle throughout the season, which was news to his head coach Marvin Lewis. Coach Lewis thought this could wait until after the season, but said that Hill opted to miss the rest of the year. Hill has rushed 37 times for 116 yards this season and had ceded the majority of snaps to rookie Joe Mixon. Mixon gets a slight boost in value for the rest of the season but is still a low-end RB2 based on the Bengals poor offensive line.

  • Jeremy Hill Placed on Injured Reserve

The Bengals have placed running back Jeremy Hill (ankle) on Injured Reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. Hill had already been ruled out for Week 10, but his placement on the IR means rookie Joe Mixon may get to be a bell cow for a few weeks before Hill returns. Hill has had four carries in each of his last three games, so Mixon's role probably won't grow that much anyway. He will get a slight boost, but against a tough Titans defense he is a flex play at best.
