  • Taylor Gabriel Catches Three Passes for 58 Yards

Atlanta Falcons' wide receiver Taylor Gabriel had a productive game this Sunday, catching all three of his targets in the passing game for 58 receiving yards. Gabriel also rushed once for 15 yards. This season, Gabriel's production has been limited by an uncharacteristically out-of-sync Falcons' offense, and this is a good sign that the Falcons are beginning to figure out how to work together offensively. The Dallas Cowboys' defense is far from a pushover, and it's a good sign for Gabriel's fantasy owners that the receiver capitalized on all of his opportunities. Next week, Gabriel and the Falcons will travel to Seattle, as they face the Seahawks in the Monday night matchup.

  • Devonta Freeman, Taylor Gabriel Limited In Practice

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (neck, shoulder) and wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (tooth) were limited in practice Wednesday. Both players should be fine to play in Week 9 against the Panthers. Freeman scored in the first four weeks of the season but has been held scoreless the last three weeks while also seeing his carries dwindle as he battles nagging injuries. In a tough matchup against Carolina at likely less than 100 percent, Freeman is more of an RB2 fantasy choice. Gabriel is a boom-or-bust option that has been mostly bust this year. He has only three catches on three targets for 21 yards the last two games.

  • Taylor Gabriel A Risky Flex Play for Week 6

Opposing defenses have been working to limit the Atlanta Falcons' deep threats, and its clearly affecting Taylor Gabriel's production. Thus far this season, Gabriel has only caught ten passes for 129 yards, and he was completely shut out by the Buffalo Bills' defense, most notably on the deep jump ball that Gabriel lost to Buffalo Bills' safety Micah Hyde in the third quarter. The good news for Gabriel's fantasy owners is that with Mohammed Sanu expected to miss two weeks due to injury, Gabriel should see an uptick in targets. The increase targets should translate into more fantasy production. This Sunday, Gabriel and the Falcons will be facing the Miami Dolphins at home in Atlanta. Gabriel is a low floor/high ceiling flex play for Week 6.
