  • Odell Beckham Jr.'s Season Officially Over

Updating previous reports, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) is done for the season, according to head coach Ben McAdoo. You can now safely drop OBJ in redraft leagues. It's a huge blow for the Giants and Beckham owners. Moving forward, New York's offense will be extremely tough to trust in upcoming games with the Broncos and Seahawks before their Week 8 bye. Brandon Marshall (ankle) and Sterling Shepard (ankle) could also miss multiple weeks. Obviously, Eli Manning is a poor fantasy option the rest of the way now. Roger Lewis will be a popular waiver target given his expected volume moving forward, but he's a low-ceiling player.

  • Odell Beckham Jr. Suffered Fractured Ankle In Week 5

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a fractured ankle in the Week 5 loss to the Chargers, and he will undergo surgery and an MRI exam to see if he suffered additional ligament damage, according to a source informed of the diagnosis. The injury likely means Beckham will be put on Injured Reserve for at least eight weeks, but he's highly unlikely to play for the Giants again in 2017. It's a devastating loss for the Giants, Beckham and his fantasy owners, and it was made even worse by the fact that receivers Brandon Marshall (ankle), Sterling Shepard (ankle) and Dwayne Allen (foot) all suffered their own injuries Sunday and may miss time. OBJ can safely be dropped in redraft leagues, and Roger Lewis is worth consideration off the waiver wire since he'll see a huge increase in usage with all New York's injuries.

  • Odell Beckham Jr. Will Have Surgery

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle, leg) will have surgery after injuring his leg in the Week 5 loss to the Chargers. It looked as though OBJ may have broken his leg, as it was bent awkwardly underneath a Chargers defender, and Beckham was in tears while being carted off the field. It's an extremely tough break for Beckham, his owners and the Giants offense as a whole, especially since receivers Brandon Marshall (ankle), Sterling Shepard (ankle) and Dwayne Harris (foot) were hurt Sunday, too. At least Beckham was able to catch five passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in what could likely being his last for his owners in 2017. With New York's passing corps all hurt, Roger Lewis is the No. 1 option at wideout now, with rookie tight end Evan Engram expected to see a lot of looks moving forward. Running back Shane Vereen's value increases significantly now, too, but it'll be really hard to trust anyone on this offense moving forward.
