  • Davante Adams Looks to Keep Momentum Going

Davante Adams is in line for a big game against Cincinnati at home in Week 3. Adams has played very well going back to last season. His biggest limitation over that time period has been targets. With Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb both hobbled by injuries that should not be a problem this weekend. Even if only one of them misses time, expect Rodgers to go Adams' way frequently. After a big game against Atlanta in Week 2, Adams is a top-10 scoring wide receiver in PPR. With a favorable mathcup, he is likely to continue that production and should be considered a low end WR1 for Week 3.

  • Davante Adams has Big Game; Expect Big Things in Upcoming Weeks

Davante Adams exploded for 99 yards on 8 receptions and a touchdown in a Week 2 loss to Atlanta. With Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb both missing much of the game due to injuries, Adams became the de facto number one receiver for Aaron Rodgers and he looked excellent in the role. Adams had an impressive catch on fourth down for a 33 yard touchdown that really put the trust Rodgers has in him on display. If Nelson and/or Cobb were to miss additional time, expect the normally boom-or-bust Adams to consistently put up some big games as he would be tasked with a larger role in the offense.

  • Davante Adams Looks to Bounce Back in Week 2

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams had a disappointing Week 1 when he was essentially sacrificed at the altar of Richard Sherman. He looked good when given the chance, but simply did not have the opportunity to have a big game. That should change this week against Atlanta when he stands to go up against much more favorable coverage. With Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb with less favorable matchups, the boom or bust Adams has a real chance to stand out. Additionally, if Green Bay is missing either of their tackles Adams could actually stand to gain. Adams is the one receiver in Green Bay who can consistently beat press coverage and use his size to get open quickly. If Rodgers needs to get rid of the ball in a hurry, he could be looking Adams way. Adams is a too highly variable to be considered a WR1 but you should feel very comfortable if he is your second receiver this week.
