  • Cameron Brate Invisible in Win Versus Dolphins

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate had a very slow day during Sunday's win at the Dolphins. Brate ended the game with only one catch for 12 yards and no touchdowns on three targets. He got off to a very hot start this season with touchdowns in four of his first five weeks, but he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. He has also only had three receptions over the past three games, and his role in the offense has sharply declined. He was one of the favorite targets of quarterback Jameis Winston, but with him out, he has seen less volume. Going forward, Brate makes a good but not great fantasy option.

  • Cameron Brate In Need Of Bounce-Back Game

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate is in need of a big game to show he still has fantasy value. Earlier in the season, Brate was on a four game touchdown streak and since then, he has gone four straight games without a touchdown. This week he is up against the Dolphins, who have the 23rd DVOA against tight ends, making this a very favorable match up. Brate has only caught two passes over the past two weeks, so he is primed to get back on track. Both teams have bad defenses, so this game has some shootout potential, which means plenty of upside for Brate.

  • Cameron Brate Has Second Straight Bad Week

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate posted a second straight week with only one reception, during Sunday's win against the Jets. Coming into this week Brate was set to see more volume due to Bucs' receiver Mike Evans being suspended, but that didn't turnout to be the case. He ended the day with only one reception on three targets for 10 yards. This is now four weeks in a row without a touchdown, after going the previous four weeks with touchdowns. Brate had been consistent up until this recent stretch of games, and going forward, he still should be considered a reliable fantasy option.
