  • Paul Richardson Returns To Home Run Status

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson has shown that he can fill the No. 2 slot for Seattle wideouts, but that doesn't mean he's a dependable play week in and week out. After a huge game against the Texans a few weeks ago where he hauled in six balls, Richardson has returned to his original role as a home run specialist. Richardson has caught passes in nine games this season, and in seven of those, he's caught at least one pass for more than 20 yards. While that's great, he's also only topped three catches in a single contest twice this season. Atlanta's particularly stingy against the deep ball, so while Richardson may be able to break one free, he's not a dependable source of points this week.

  • Paul Richardson Could Be Limited

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson (groin), who is expected to play Thursday night against the Cardinals despite being questionable, could be limited some, according to a source. Richardson has been a boom-or-bust fantasy commodity this year, will be less than 100 percent and could be matched up against shutdown corner Patrick Peterson, making him one to shy away from in fantasy circles. If he's indeed limited, that'll give more work to the likes of Tyler Lockett and tight end Jimmy Graham.

  • Paul Richardson Expected To Play

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson (groin) expects to play Thursday night, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Richardson did not practice all week, but the coach suggests that was a precautionary move. "He just felt some tightness, so we just took care of him during the week," Carroll said. "He should be all right, should be OK." Richardson has been up and down so far this season, but he will be in a good spot against the Cardinals if he suits up.
