Jason Myers News
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts and connected on both extra-point tries in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The field goal attempts were from 24, 42, and 43 yards away. Myers has been perfect on extra-point attempts all season and he now has a four-game streak without a missed field goal. Myers' 33 made field goals are tied for second-most and only two behind league leader Brandon Aubrey. He will try to extend his streak to a fifth game when the Seahawks play the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The Cardinals have only seen four field goal attempts in the last three weeks but opponents have scored 13 touchdowns in that time, so Myers figures to be involved one way or another in the last game of the regular season. Fantasy managers still playing in Week 18 can feel secure in giving Myers one last start.
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans, bringing him up to 30 made this season, tied for fourth-most in the league. He also maintained his perfect record on extra-point tries, converting both of his attempts in the contest. In Week 17, the Seahawks face the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. Myers' 2023 splits favor matchups at Lumen Field, as just two of his seven missed field goals have occurred on his home turf. The Steelers are in the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, but the Seahawks will be pushing to get points on the board as they desperately cling to hopes of making the playoffs. Myers figures to be a serviceable option in Week 17.
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers made good on field goal attempts from 26 and 43 yards out and connected on both of his extra-point tries in Week 15's surprise win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Myers now ranks second in field goals attempted and third in field goals made and remains perfect on extra-points. In Week 16, Seattle plays the Tennessee Titans who have allowed the most fantasy points per game to kickers as well as the most field goals made and attempts. This may be a result of their defensive success in the red zone, limiting opponents to a 37.3% success rate and forcing kickers onto the field more often. If the Seahawks fall victim to this as well, it will give Myers ample opportunity to pad his stats. If you don't already have your kicker slot squared away, Myers is worthy of a start.
