Kendall Lamm News
The Miami Dolphins are re-signing offensive tackle Kendall Lamm to a one-year deal, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN. The nine-year NFL veteran played in all 17 games (eight starts) for Miami last season, but he is primarily a backup swing tackle. Originally undrafted out of Appalachian State in 2015, Lamm spent time with the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, and Detroit Lions before joining the Dolphins in 2022. He has 104 games on NFL experience, and he is ready to play if star left tackle Terron Armstead continues to battle injuries moving forward.
The Tennessee Titans released offensive lineman Kendall Lamm on Thursday. Lamm signed a two-year deal with the team last offseason and appeared in 12 games for the Titans in 2021. Lamm was scheduled to make $3.3 million this year. The 29-year-old served as a backup offensive lineman for the Titans after spending the previous two seasons in a similar role with the Cleveland Browns. Lamm got his start in the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans, and he played there for four seasons before joining the Browns in 2019. He'll look for work as offensive line depth on the open market this offseason.
Tennessee Titans reserve offensive tackle Kendall Lamm announced on social media on Thursday that he tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play on Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Left tackle Taylor Lewan (back) and left guard Rodger Saffold were ruled out on Wednesday, so the Titans offensive line is going to be short-handed in Week 16. Second-round rookie Dillon Radunz is likely to start on quarterback Ryan Tannehill's blind side, so 49ers star pass-rusher Nick Bosa could have a field day on Thursday night. Another option for the Titans is to move starting right tackle David Quessenberry to left tackle and put Radunz on the right side. Reserve lineman Aaron Brewer is expected to start at left guard.
