  • Robby Anderson Secures Garbage-Time Touchdown

As you can tell from looking at the 15-10 final score in the New York Jets' loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, there wasn't a whole lot of offense. Wide receiver Robby Anderson was once again the biggest spark Gang Green had, but he didn't show up until the game's final minute. Anderson saw seven targets, catching four of them for 85 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown didn't come until 28 seconds left in the game, a 38-yard bomb from Josh McCown when there was little chance of victory. Despite the small impact Anderson's score had on the game, it was still his fourth straight game with a trip to paydirt. Anderson will remain a viable WR3 with WR2 upside when the Jets get back from their bye to take on the Caorlina Panthers in Week 12.

  • Robby Anderson’s Hot Streak Continues

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson was a popular waiver wire target this week, and he did not let those owners down. Anderson caught four passes on five targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in a victory over the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night, extending his touchdown-streak to three games. After a very slow start to the season, Anderson now has at least 59 yards or a touchdown in seven of his last eight games. Anderson may have been out-targeted by fellow wide receiver Jermaine Kearse in this one, 6-5, but Kearse has become essentially irrelevant in this offense over the last three games. At only 24-years old, Anderson, an undrafted free agent out of Temple, is turning into quite the dependable receiver in his season NFL season. He's a great WR3 play with WR2 upside against Tampa Bay's poor pass defense in Week 10.

  • Robby Anderson Has Another Big Game

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson had a very slow start to the 2017 season, but he has certainly picked things up in recent weeks. In a 25-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Anderson caught all six of his passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. The trip to pay dirt was Anderson's second in as many weeks, and his third in the last six games. In the three of those games where Anderson didn't score a touchdown, he only put up less than 59 yards on one occasion. Anderson is playing like an every-week WR3 at this point, and also seems like a better FLEX option than any other player on the Jets.
