Marshall Koehn News
The Bengals have waived kicker Marshall Koehn in advance of Sunday's game against the Titans. This indicates confidence that starting kicker Randy Bullock (back) will be healthy and ready go to in Week 10. Bullock has knocked down all 14 of his extra point attempts this year and is 8-for-10 on field goals as well , with a long of 46. Playing with a sputtering offense against a tough Titans defense, Bullock is best left on the waiver wire for this week.
The Cincinnati Bengals appear to be moving forward as if regular kicker Randy Bullock (back) will not be able to play in Week 9 against the Jaguars. In his place, the Bengals signed rookie kicker Marhsall Koehn, who was lastwith Vikings but has yet to kick in an NFL game. Koehn's inexperience mixed with a tough matchup against the Jaguars makes him not worth starting in fantasy formats this week.
Minnesota's special teams woes of the past two years may be a thing of the past as rookie Marshall Koehn and veteran Kai Forbath both went perfect on Friday night. Koehn, who spent 2016 on Miami's practice squad, delivered on a 29-yard field goal and one extra point try. The incumbent Forbath connected on his lone attempt from 53 yards. This battle is expected to go through the entirety of the preseason. Though up in the air at the moment, Minnesota offers kicker value following a season where they ranked 29th in red zone touchdowns.
