Marshon Lattimore News
New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore (ankle) has been placed on the injured reserve on Saturday. That was quick after the Saints ruled out Lattimore for Sunday's game on Friday. Now, Lattimore is set to miss the next four games while he recovers from a high-ankle sprain. The absence of Lattimore will certainly be a blow to the Saints secondary. Alontae Taylor will likely be asked to start alongside Paulson Adebo going forward. Despite that, the Saints defense remains a playable option against the turnover-prone Desmond Ridder in Week 12.
New Orleans Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore (ankle) has been ruled out for the Week 12 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The star defensive back suffered a high-ankle sprain during Week 10. The Saints had a bye last week, but it appears that wasn't enough time for Lattimore to get back to full health. He wasn't able to practice at all this week, so it's not shocking to see him being ruled out for Week 12. In his absence, Alontae Taylor will likely be asked to start alongside Paulson Adebo in the secondary. It's unknown if Lattimore will be able to suit up next week, so we'll have to wait and see. The loss of Lattimore is certainly a hit to this secondary heading into Week 12.
New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Pro Bowl defensive back got time to recover thanks to a Week 11 bye, but head coach Dennis Allen said his injury will "take some time" to recover from. He did not say whether or not Lattimore could end up on Injured Reserve. In Lattimore's absence, the New Orleans secondary, which has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers, could be weakened. 2022 second-round pick Alontae Taylor will likely see more snaps in games that Lattimore cannot suit up for.
