Chad Hansen News
Houston Texans wide receiver Chad Hansen was held to just one catch on three targets in a 37-31 loss to the Bengals. Hansen had put together a solid string of games before this one, with three straight 50+ yard contests. After seeing seven targets in each of his first two games as a starter, Hansen has seen just three looks in back-to-back contests. He is definitely behind Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee in the pecking order, though perhaps a Week 17 date with the Titans' 28th-ranked pass defense can afford him a rebound opportunity.
Houston Texans wide receiver Chad Hansen faces a beatable Bengals' pass defense in Week 16. Hansen has exceeded 50 receiving yards in each of his three games as a starter, including a 100-yard effort in his first game against the Colts. Quarterback Deshaun Watson clearly trusts him, as evidenced by the 17 targets he's seen in three contests. Hansen may take a backseat to Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee this week, though he's a capable fill-in flex option, as well as a cheaper option for DFS formats in Week 16.
Houston Texans wide receiver Chad Hansen caught two of three targets for 55 receiving yards and a touchdown in a close loss to the Colts. Hansen only saw three targets but made them count, catching the first touchdown of his career. He was wide open down the field and basically waltzed into the end zone for a 38-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Hansen has become a quality flex option in all leagues, as he's averaged 4.6 receptions and 70.7 receiving yards per game in three contests as a starter for Houston. He'll be in the WR3 discussion for a Week 16 matchup with Cincinnati.
