T.J. Logan News
Arizona Cardinals running back T.J. Logan (ankle) logged a full practice on Wednesday. Logan didn't feature in the team's game last week and looks to be the third running back on the depth chart after David Johnson and Chase Edmonds. Logan has almost no fantasy value unless one or both of those players were to get injured.
In the absence of Arizona Cardinals veteran running backDavid Johnson, who was rested, young backs T.J. Logan and Chase Edmonds played well in their team's victory against the Dallas Cowboys. Logan had 11 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown with a long carry of 59 yards while Edmonds had 11 carries for 55 yards. Both backs figure to play a complimentary role to Johnson for the year. Should he go down with an injury, the obvious beneficiary is Chase Edmonds, the rookie who will likely be his direct backup for the year. For now, Edmonds is nothing more than an undervalued handcuff option.
Arizona Cardinals running back T.J. Logan is likely going to make the roster after logging in a team high 17 snaps in last week's preseason game against the Saints. Logan was a rookie last year who had his season cut short due to a dislocated wrist. Logan is expected to have a decent role in the team as a special-teamer. However, with the running back depth chart most likely occupied by David Johnson and Chase Edmonds, Logan will have to fight with pass-catching back D.J. Foster for valuable playing time. Logan has minimal fantasy value heading into the season.
