New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (ankle), rookie running back Sony Michel (knee) and wide receivers Josh Gordon (hamstring) and Chris Hogan (thigh) were all limited in practice on Friday and are questionable for Week 6 against the Chiefs on Sunday night. Hogan is really the only player in doubt, but even he should be fine to suit up. Gronk is a top-three tight end in an excellent matchup against a weak KC pass defense. Michel has RB1 upside as the main runner in this backfield. Gordon has seen his snaps limited in his first few games with New England, so he remains more of a boom/bust WR3. Hogan just hasn't gotten going this year, and it'll be tough to do so with so many mouths to feed in this offense. He's a shaky WR4/flex play, but the opportunity is there for a big game if he plays.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (ankle), rookie running back Sony Michel (knee) and wide receivers Chris Hogan (thigh) and Josh Gordon (hamstring) were all limited in practice on Wednesday. All four should be fine to suit up on Sunday night in a showdown against the Chiefs. Against a KC pass defense that has struggled for most of the season, this game has plenty of shootout potential. Gronk remains an elite TE1, while Michel has RB1 upside as the main back next to James White. Hogan has been an extreme disappointment with only 11 catches on 19 targets for 143 yards in five games this year, although he does have two touchdowns. If there was a game for him to break out, this would be it, although Julian Edelman's presence lowers his ceiling for the rest of the year. Gordon has played in two straight games but still has a somewhat limited role despite scoring his first TD on a jump ball last Thursday. Gordon is a boom/bust WR3.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will go up against a Chiefs defense that is allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. The stats are a bit deceiving after the Steelers Jessie James tore through the Chiefs for 138 yards and one touchdown but tight ends have enjoyed success overall against Kansas City. Gronkowski has been quiet in the red zone this season but has 23 receptions for 308 yards. Gronk is a must-start in what is shaping up to be a shootout in Week 6.
