Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (knee) is expected to play in Week 8 against the Packers despite not practicing on Wednesday. The Rams are likely just limiting Suh's practice repetitions as we approach the halfway point of the season. Suh remains a beast on the interior and in the pass rush, accumulating 20 tackles and three sacks in seven games this season. Start him this weekend in IDP leagues.
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. The Rams could just be resting their stud defensive tackle in the middle of the season. The 31-year-old remains one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL and has 20 tackles and three sacks through the first seven weeks of the 2018 season. Losing Suh for any amount of time would be a big blow to the team's run defense and pass rush.
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will line up at nose tackle in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips' 3-4 scheme this year in the base defense. Aaron Donald will continue to play the "three-technique" spot, which typically lines up on the outside shoulder of an offensive guard. Suh is as disruptive a presence on the interior of a defense as there is in the NFL, and his sack numbers may also rise while playing alongside Donald in what is one of the best defenses on paper right now.
