Mike Iupati News
Long-time NFL offensive lineman Mike Iupati, who played the last two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, has decided to retire from football. "My body was telling me it was time to close the door," Iupati said. The 33-year-old played 11 seasons in the NFL. Along the way, he was selected to the Pro Bowl four times. The former Idaho product played in just 10 games in his final season with Seattle and dealt with chronic neck issues, which were a big reason he has decided to step away from the game he loves. Iupati made four consecutive Pro Bowls from 2012 to 2015 (three years with the 49ers and one with Cardinals), and he was also a first-team All-Pro selection in 2012. He was the 17th overall pick in the first round of 2010 by San Francisco.
Arizona Cardinals left guard Mike Iupati is back in the team and making huge contributions so far this preseason. After suffering a triceps injury that kept him out for the entire 2017 season, Iupati is back and earning the praise of several of his teammates for how well he has been playing. Iupati is definitely an upgrade to a Cardinals offensive line that just lost center A.Q. Shipley. The team looks to be better in the trenches this season, boosting the fantasy value of the majority of their skill position players, specifically quarterback Sam Bradford and running back David Johnson.
