Kamar Aiken News
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Kamar Aiken could have a bigger than expected role in Week 3. With Alshon Jeffery (shoulder), Darren Sproles (hamstring), and Jay Ajayi (back) all questionable at best and Mike Wallace (leg) out, the Eagles are running out of players to catch passes from the returning Carson Wentz. Aiken played 78 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 2 and should end up as the third option in the passing game behind Nelson Agholor and Zach Ertz. He's not a must-add at this point, but he's someone to keep an eye on in deeper leagues.
The Philadelphia Eagles are re-signing wide receiver Kamar Aiken on Tuesday, according to his agent. Aiken was cut from the team in training camp and will provide depth until Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) is able to make a return. Aiken had 15 catches for 133 yards and no touchdowns in 15 games for the Colts in 2017. He can continue being ignored in fantasy circles.
The Philadelphia Eagles waived wide receivers Markus Wheaton and Kamar Aiken, quarterback Joe Callahan and running back Matt Jones as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players this weekend. It's a bit surprising that both Wheaton and Aiken were let go with Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) set to miss the first couple weeks of the season. Nelson Agholor, Mike Wallace and Mack Hollins should see their roles increase early on. Shelton Gibson and Deandre Carter round out the receiving corps.
