New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that running back Mark Ingram plans to report for the team's three-day mandatory minicamp in June. Ingram is skipping organized team activities because he's not happy with his contract, but after his four-game suspension, he's unlikely to get one from the Saints. After setting career highs in carries (230), yards (1,124) and touchdowns (12), Ingram's fantasy value is taking a big hit with his suspension to start the year. Phenom Alvin Kamara should also see more of the workload as the No. 1 back when Ingram returns in Week 5.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said running back Mark Ingram, who is suspended for the first four games of the year for performance-enhancing substances, is not expected to take part in any organized team activities until mandatory veteran minicamp in June. He's headed into the final year of his contract and won't receive an extension after his suspension. Ingram had a career year in 2017 but will lose more work to sophomore Alvin Kamara when he returns from his suspension in Week 5. Ingram's fantasy value takes a big hit with his four-game suspension to open the season. The Saints have their bye in Week 6.

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram will appeal his four-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, according to a statement from his agent, David Jones. Jones said the substance for which Ingram failed a drug test is "permissible with the proper use exemption." The appeal will be heard by May 16. Ingram is coming off his best season with 230 carries, 1,124 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns to go along with 58 catches for 416 yards. If he loses the appeal, Ingram's fantasy value will take a big hit. Also, promising sophomore Alvin Kamara will receive a boost. He was already in consideration as a first-round fantasy selection, though.
