Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones (knee) and tight end Michael Roberts (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. Jones has seen 15 targets in the two games since Golden Tate was traded, but it's translated to only nine catches for 121 yards and no touchdowns. He's shaping up as a risky WR2 if he's questionable to face the Panthers in Week 11. If Jones is inactive, it'd mean much bigger roles for Kenny Golladay, TJ Jones and pass-catching running back Theo Riddick. Roberts has three touchdowns on the season on just six receptions. He's mainly been a red-zone option but has no fantasy value. If he sits out, it'll mean more targets for Luke Willson.
Tests showed that Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones' (knee) ACL and MCL are intact, but he did suffer a bone bruise in Week 10 and is considered day-to-day, according to a source. Jones has underwhelmed in the two games since Golden Tate was traded, catching nine passes on 15 targets for 121 yards. His practice status this week will go a long way in determining if he'll be ready to face the Packers in Week 11. If he isn't ready, Kenny Golladay, TJ Jones and rookie Brandon Powell would see much bigger roles in the passing game, as well as running back Theo Riddick.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones (knee) was forced to leave in the third quarter of Sunday's game and was not able to return. Before exiting, Jones was targeted seven times, catching three passes for 55 yards. It will be interesting to see if Jones is able to practice this week, but monitor reports to see if he will be available for their Week 11 matchup with the Panthers.
