Detroit Lions receiver Marvin Jones joined teammate Golden Tate in the 1,000-yard club on Sunday, hauling in four catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Jones had a great season, finishing with 57 catches for 1,020 yards and eight touchdowns. Jones was No. 2 on the depth chart behind Tate but was a big-play threat, which helped his value. He finished as a strong WR2 and should go into 2018 in that spot once again.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones lit up the Bears the last time they faced each other, hauling in four catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. A very banged-up offensive line could cost quarterback Matthew Stafford time in the pocket, which may hurt his ability to get the ball deep down the field to Jones. This is shaping up to be more of a Golden Tate and Theo Riddick game, so fantasy owners should tread carefully with Jones. He is still in the WR2 conversation, but on the lower end.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones was only targeted four times on Sunday. The four targets were his third lowest total of the season. He hauled in three of them for 64 total yards, however, salvaging what could have been a disaster for fantasy owners. An increased role for tight end Eric Ebron took away many of Jones' opportunities in Week 14. Look for Jones to bounce back against the Bears in Week 15. He is a rock-solid WR2 going forward.
