The Buffalo Bills are signing free-agent wide receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley on Tuesday. Brown has agreed to a three-year, $27 million deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Good Morning Football's Peter Schrager. Beasley is expected to sign for $29 million over four years, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Brown was a disappointment in his only year in Baltimore, catching just 42 passes (career-low 17.0 yards per catch) and five touchdowns. Beasley caught 65 passes for 672 yards and three touchdowns as a part-time starter. He'll make $17 million over the first two years of his deal, with $14.4 million guaranteed. Neither Brown nor Beasley will be all that attractive in fantasy in their new home, but they'll surely help upgrade Buffalo's receiving corps alongside Robert Foster and Zay Jones.
The Dallas Cowboys are cautiously optimistic that both wide receiver Cole Beasley (ankle) and tight end Blake Jarwin (ankle) will be active for the divisional round against the Rams on Saturday, according to a source. Both players are listed as questionable despite not practicing at all this week. They have a solid chance to play, but neither player will likely be 100 percent and they should both be considered extremely shaky DFS plays against LA.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley (ankle) and tight end Blake Jarwin (ankle) missed practice all week but are questionable for the divisional round on Saturday against the Rams. Both players are expected to be game-time decisions on Saturday. Even if they play, they're both lottery tickets for fantasy owners. Rookie wide receiver Michael Gallup and rookie tight end Dalton Schultz could see more targets if both Beasley and Jarwin are ruled out. Only Gallup would be worth a spot in fantasy lineups, and even then he'd be more of a deep sleeper that is touchdown-dependent.
