Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) is still in a sling but reportedly hopes to be ready for the preseason. Jeffery played all of last season with a torn rotator cuff and was finally able to undergo surgery after the Super Bowl. He's already been ruled out for organized team activities, but there seems to be no concern at all about whether or not he'll be ready for Week 1.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair a rotator cuff injury he played with all season. The "goal" is for Jeffery to be ready to go for Week 1 of the 2018 season, but he "could" be ready earlier than that. Even if he is deemed ready, the Eagles will likely treat their top receiver carefully and allow him to sit out the entire preseason. He'll almost certainly miss all of organized team activities, minicamp and training camp while recovering. With the Eagles keeping the same offensive system Jeffery played well in for the last half of the 2017 season, he should be fine with missing out on practices as long as he's ready to go for the first game of the season.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) underwent successful surgery on Wednesday morning to repair a torn rotator cuff. Jeffery suffered the injury in training camp before the season and somehow played through it all year, leading his team to a Super Bowl win. It bodes well for Jeffery, who should be even better on the field next season.
