Player News

Seattle Seahawks All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner (groin) said he will be ready to start in Week 3 against the Cowboys after missing Week 2. Wagner's return will make Seattle much more stout in the middle of the field. It's bad news for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on the road in a hostile environment.

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner (groin) has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Bears on Monday night. Linebacker K.J. Wright and wide receiver Doug Baldwin are also out, and cornerback Tre Flowers is doubtful. Seattle's defense is very vulnerable right now in the middle and in the secondary, which is great news for Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, his receivers and tight end Trey Burton this week.

The Seattle Seahawks defensive woes continue to pile up. Linebackers Bobby Wagner (hamstring) and K.J. Wright (concussion) are both considered questionable at this point due to injuries they suffered in the team's Week 14 game at Jacksonville. Wagner is sidelined with a hamstring issue that has been bothering him for a few weeks but came to a head against the Jaguars, resulting in him leaving the game early. He is considered a game-time decision. Wright is in the concussion protocol. With a defense that's already missing multiple All-Pro players on the back end, the loss of a Defensive Player of the Year candidate and a Super Bowl MVP could prove to be too much for them to come back from.
