After his first game action all season, Los Angeles Rams linebacker Mark Barron (ankle) looks to expand his role moving forward. Head coach Sean McVay said Barron responded well to his first bit of playing time, and he should be even more active this week. The Rams run defense has struggled mightily this season. While McVay indicated he wasn't too concerned, Barron's presence will certainly help alleviate some of that concern as he gets back into the flow of things in the middle. Barron should also become more relevant in IDP leagues when he's playing a full complement of snaps on D.
Los Angeles Rams linebacker Mark Barron (ankle) was limited in practice on Wednesday, and head coach Sean McVay expects Barron to make his season debut in Week 5 against the Seahawks. Barron's return will surely help shore up the team's run defense and defense against tight ends. He will likely be eased back into a full-time role, however, so it might not be wise to immediately start him in IDP leagues. The 28-year-old has tallied 100-plus tackles in two of three seasons with the Rams and had 86 tackles a year ago in just 14 games.
Los Angeles Rams linebacker Mark Barron (ankle) is inactive for Week 3 against the Chargers. Barron was never expected to play this weekend and might have to sit out again in Week 4. He has yet to play this season, but he is an IDP force for his tackling ability when he's active. The Rams defense/special teams will remain a strong fantasy play all season long. Rookie running back John Kelly remains a healthy scratch.
