Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus connected on a 36-yard field goal with six seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Broncos to a 20-19 victory over the Raiders on Sunday. Denver's offense struggled to get going against this Raiders defense all afternoon, but McManus hit on both of his field goal attempts (39, 36 yards) as well as both of his extra points, remaining perfect through the first two weeks. McManus is currently tied for fourth with 21 fantasy points through the first two weeks of the season (prior to Sunday/Monday night's games) and should be viewed as a solid option at kicker moving forward.
Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus finished Week 1 with 13 fantasy points, which was more than every kicker not named Greg Zuerlein. Oh and by the way, Zuerlein's Week 1 opponent -- Oakland -- will be in Denver on Sunday, so look for McManus to pick up where he left off -- Oakland also allowed the ninth most fantasy points to opposing kickers in 2017. We know, kickers aren't sexy. But he's could be available on your league's waiver wire and is primed for yet another double-digit performance this week.
Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus connected on both of his field goal attempts (53 and 51 yards) while going 3-for-3 on extra points in the Broncos 27-24 victory against the Seahawks on Sunday. With an improved offense and the beneficial thin air at Mile High at his disposal, McManus figures to be among the top fantasy kickers in 2018.
