Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams, who underwhelmed in his rookie season mostly due to injuries, is attempting to bounce back after catching 11 passes for 95 yards in 10 games played after being drafted seventh overall in the first round. He's been regularly doing yoga and Pilates to improve his flexibility and relax the muscles in his back and the rest of his body. Williams is also working closely with Keenan Allen on his route running in particular. The sophomore wideout has a ton of upside and should put up much better numbers if he's healthy. For fantasy owners, he's more attractive than Tyrell Williams, who he'll be competing against for the No. 2 receiver role in LA.
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn expects wide receiver Keenan Allen (back) to be fine for Week 16 against the Jets. Allen was a disappointment to fantasy owners in the semi-finals and was carted to the locker room during the game. He had just five catches for 54 yards after going four straight weeks with over 100 yards receiving, which also included four touchdowns. Expect Allen to bounce back if he's healthy against the Jets, who have been generous through the air this year. Allen remains on the WR1 map and could be even more heavily targeted if tight end Hunter Henry (kidney) is unable to play.
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen's switch has been flipped, and he's not going back anytime soon. Allen was having a ho-hum season until four weeks ago when he exploded against the Bills. For the last month, he's been unstoppable, hanging over 100 receiving yards on four straight foes along with four touchdowns. This week, he gets to face the second-softest secondary in the league this year, the Chiefs. The once-vaunted defense that held Allen under 70 yards in September is about to get roasted, and fantasy owners everywhere should prepare for a waterfall of points this week.
