Baltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown couldn't have asked for a better debut. Brown, who signed with the Ravens in the offseason, caught three passes for 44 yards and a score in Baltimore's 47-3 victory over Buffalo. Brown was an important part of the Ravens offense early in the game. On the Ravens opening drive, the fifth-year pro got behind the Bills defense and quarterback Joe Flacco found him wide open for a 29-yard gain on second and 26 from their own 40. Then the very next possession, Brown got his first touchdown of the season as he slipped through the Bills zone defense and found a soft spot in the back of the end zone for a seven-yard reception. The former Arizona Cardinal is coming off the worst season of his career with just 21 catches for 299 yards and three touchdowns in 2017.

Newly-acquired Baltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown continued his strong preseason campaign on Monday night against the Colts. The veteran made a toe-tap touchdown catch in the back of the end zone to cap off a scoring drive in the first quarter of the preseason match-up. Brown has emerged as one of the bigger headlines at Ravens camp thus far, and his chemistry with quarterback Joe Flacco should not be overlooked. Brown is still slipping in drafts despite an excellent preseason showing, so look to take advantage as he has shown capable of WR2 production in the past.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown is showing some early chemistry with quarterback Joe Flacco and has been noted as the Ravens best wide receiver thus far into training camp. Brown proved to be valuable when healthy throughout his time in Arizona and is poised to have a nice role in the Ravens offense after battling through complications from a sickle-cell trait last season. The wide receiver seems to be flying under the radar on most draft boards in favor of teammate Michael Crabtree, but target him as a late sleeper with a shot at some nice value in PPR leagues and with a shot at standard-league value should Flacco continue to look his way in the red zone.
